I believe the world and the media have a lot to do with the way young girls dress. These girls are looking to celebrities and adults for what to wear and how to act. The problem with this is that these people are much older then them in most cases! So if a ten-year-old puts on a low cut shirt she may be perceived as a "slut," Where on the model, etc., it was appropriate and complemented that person. The problem is when young girls try to grow up to fast, by looking to older women. They are wishing their lives away without even knowing it. I believe young girls need to dress in a way that is respectable to themselves, and the people around them. When they can accomplish this they will have more confidence in themselves.
