Would a perfect world really be all that great???

In class today, we discussed what it would be like to live in a perfect, Unitarian society. Many people seemed to feel that the world would be so much better if everyone was perfect. I however, disagree with that. The first topic we discussed was physical perfection. People thought that if everyone were beautiful on the outside, the world would be better. My question though, is who determines what achieves perfection. If I were to describe what I though would make the perfection, my answer would be different than someone else's description. In fact, it is very likely that you would never get the exact same description from multiple people. So truly, I think it would be impossible to every have a perfect world. Even if we were living in fantasy and had the ability to create a new world full of perfect people, that world would only be perfect to us. Every person has their own ideas of perfection, their own likes and dislikes. Therefore, what is perfect to me is only perfect to me. I also brought up the topic of perfect circumstances in class today. As I said in class, I believe that it would truly be boring to live in a perfect world. Experiences are what make life interesting. If there were never any mistakes to be made, or challenges to face in life, then what is the point of living? Nothing new would ever be achieved or discovered. Nobody would ever win and nobody would lose, for losing isn't perfect. Day in and day out, people would be living the same activities over and over again. Really, it wouldn't be all that perfect.
Every person in the world has his or her own idea of perfect. We could never have a perfect world because every person is looking for their own perfect soul mate, and their own perfect circumstances. While the world we live in today may not be at its best, and may be in need of improvement, I think it is still better than living in a perfect but boring world.

During that class discussion I was thinking the same thing, who defines perfection?
For every person they have to define perfection for themselves. To one person a corky smile could be perfect and to another it could be their worst feature. Perfection depends on the person and what they see. I truly don’t think anyone is perfect!
